Plyometric box exercises are widely used exercises that activate the largest, most powerful muscles in the body and may be the greatest test of total-body strength and muscular endurance.
All of the major muscles are involved in these exercises: the pecs, lats, arms, core, the quadriceps, hamstrings, adductors and the glutes. This exercise also relies on muscle activity at both the hip and ankle joints and recruits the abdominals and spinal erectors as well.
Strength & power exercises come in all shapes and sizes, and can be used for a variety of training goals. This video breaks down the plyometric box jump step by step for you to know exactly how to perform this movement safely and efficiently.

Use this move in your weekly routine, preferably on your conditioning or lower body day using anywhere from 5-10 reps with adequate rest in between sets. Start with a lower setting until you are comfortable enough to start jumping a higher level.
